ADRSV Double Reed Boot Camp

Date: Saturday 24th January 2026

Time: 10am to 2:30pm

Venue: Richmond Library Theatrette

Participants: parents, non-specialist teachers (Professional Development certificates issued), oboe and bassoon students of all ages

Presenters: Emmanuel Cassimatis, Matthew Kneale and Stephen Moschner.

Content will be age appropriate topics including:

 

- Embouchure

- Scales

- Breathing

- Practice

- Intonation/resonance

- Dynamics

- Reed management

 

BYO Lunch

 

 

A fun, informative day for parents, non specialist teachers and oboists and bassoonists. Spring back into the new year of double reed adventures with new ideas to assist you to navigate your way through the mysterious worlds of embouchure, breathing and reed management and rise to the challenges in your repertoire. Plus a double reed ensemble!

After the success of last year's inaugural Boot Camp, we are presenting our Double Reed Boot Camp 2026. Hope to see you there!
