Join us and have 'double the fun' over two days of double reed workshops, masterclasses, and informative presentations by local and international guest artists. There will be plenty of playing opportunities including small group chamber sessions each with an experienced tutor, masterclasses with professional musicians, and massed ensemble sessions. All levels and players welcome.

Parents are welcome to attend the concert on Sunday 4th July from 3 PM in the Richard Gill Auditorium, WAAPA.

Special guest presenters for the weekend include:

Ann Clarke (Alexander Technique)

Hugh Ponnuthurai (International Freelance Artist- Bassoon)

Mark Bruwel (Opera Australia, NSW - Oboe)

Kate Walpole (Music History Lecturer, WAAPA - Bassoon)

 
Further Information:
 
Participants are asked to provide their own lunch each day, along with a water bottle.
 
Afternoon tea will be provided, however, we are unable to accommodate special dietary requirements at this time.
 
Bassoon reeds will be available for purchase from Hugh Ponnuthurai, at a cost of $30 each (cash preferred).
 
Tickets for the weekend will be available at the door, with payment via cash or PayPal.
 
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time each day, and register your attendance at the desk. Sessions will begin promptly at 10 AM.
