Join us for a morning of reed-making workshops at the Queensland Conservatorium!
10am-1pm Sunday 27th October.

This event is open to oboists and bassoonists of all levels - no previous reed-making experience required. Come along and learn how to make a blank for the first time, or if you’re an experienced reed-maker, bring along your own reeds to workshop new ideas to make them sound even more beautiful and easy to play!

Separate workshops will be run for oboe reed-making and bassoon reed-making.

For a very reasonable registration fee of $20, you will be provided with a brand new blank or reed to take home at the end of the day - materials provided.

Registration is required for all participants to ensure the right amount of material is provided. The earlier you can register, the better quality materials we can provide.
