Principal Oboe of the Adelaide Symphony, lecturer at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, former President of Australasian Double Reed Society, Celia Craig has worked with Bernstein, Boulez, Carter, Adams, Berio, Ashkenazy, Gergiev and Haitink and many others in her distinguished orchestral career.

Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, Celia has performed as a Soloist at the Proms and at the Barbican, with the Adelaide Symphony, and can be heard on soundtracks recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Reviewers have described her as ‘eloquent’ ‘wonderful’ ‘beguiling’and ‘charismatic’ with a ‘rich syrupy tone’.

Celia was a judge at the 2015 International Gillet/Fox Oboe competition in Tokyo and is a Howarth of London Artist.
